Any bro Sis here has gone for the lasik . want to find out any complication , complaints.
From what i heard a lot suffer from dry eyes , glare , halo ( which disappear after awhile) .
will be useful can also let me know what is the degree of your myopia , astigma
ME planning to go for it in 3 months time -
mine is 600 degree for each eye
now 6/6
i don't have any complications
i heard of complications such as double vision, dry eyes, halo, teary eyes, blindness both temporary n permanent. -
u get to enjoy yr eyesight up till 40+, after that lao hua yan set in, yr perfect eyesight oso gone
so it is best to start early to gain the most out of it

Mine is about 200 plus for each eye. Many ppl say dun need lasik as 200 plus can go without lens or glasses. But I have been wearing contact lens daily for so many years. Now I am having problem with contact lens as my eyes get very dry easily.
Is it advisable for 200 plus degree to go for lasik? -

sometimes there might be complications ba.. hard to say... side effects. after effects of the surgery... hard to say

the doctor told me lasik is more for 400 to 800 degree -

I also thought of switching the contact lens from month disposable to daily ones. Then I calculated and realised that after a few years of using daily disposable, the money spent is as much as the fee for lasik.

by the way will wearing spec over time make your eyes appear smaller

just dun go for traditional LASIK, go for custom LASIK , LASEK, etc etc, that doesn't invade the cornea.
Best is to go for wavefront guided, bladeless LASIK.
Traditional LASIK is valid for approximately 8+ years of optimal vision.

No wonder all our medical students want to do eye or plastic surgery and nobody is interested in doing cancer medicine
