Always wanted to ask my ex hub to be downstairs of the 9th storey flat and I drop the bed and mattress to him.
It was because of his preferences that we got a king size bed, and I had a hard time finding one w/o any footboards because he is sooo tall. -
I think its perfectly reasonable. As it is I don't sleep enough hours and if those hours are further affected by this kind of thing on a daily basis I'd become fatigued, short tempered and maybe careless enough to get run over by a car!!Originally posted by choco B:*aghast -

get 2 single mattress. put wooden boards on the floor and lay both mattress side by side on the floor.
King size sheet set will fit both single mattress.
And when the baby needs to be near the mother sleeping. At least with the mattress on the floor, you wont have your child rolling off the bed and hurting themselves. -
U can't get rest if the baby is sleeping in the same room as you!

I can't imagine it. Sleep is better when I sleep with him.
There are solutions. Extra blankets! Direct a fan towards the party who likes it cold. And work that aircon remote - things like economy setting, timers, can be adjusted to suit both.

My best I hear is how a new born at the hospital, all wrapped up in a towel. How the mother actually put the child higher up away from her at th bed after br-east feeding for fear of rolling onto the child.
And while she was sleeping she hears a funni 'ee orh ee orh' sound coming above her.
When she opened her eyes, the baby has actually manuvered his shoulder & body to move nearer to his mother.
Babies are drawn to the sound of their mothers heartbeat, the smell and heat of their mothers. -

i have v funny positions when it comes to slping... diagonal, legs on the wall...
nel says we got to put some mattress at the sides of our bed.. in case i push him off... [i almost did a few times before but recently no cos we slpin on the floor] -

Another observations of twins being put into the same bed if one of the twins are weaker at the newborn wards.
twins who are placed together, actually fared better and recover better then those that are placed apart.
A bit also like why, pet owners scatter their worn clothes around new pets so that new pets are comforted by the smells of their owner when they are left alone in the house. -

i rmb my mother telling me that she got deceived by me, and ended up nto sleeping the whole night because of the 6 hours rule.
apparently she fed me at about 9, and i was supposed to get up about 3, so she waited and waited, until i finally got up at about 7. -

But I believe what he said coz the mum said the same thing to me before coz I used to sleep with her when my dad was posted to Vietnam in the past. She said if IÂ’m too hot or cold I will complain in my sleep till she adjust the temperature

Good parents listen more to what the nature tells them to do, then to rules and regulations that babies arent able to comprehend.
