i was one of those 'return only if necessary' students
bloody heck.. one of those guys from my department was sent on a 9-month HR course in Perth.. every other weekend, we saw him in Singapore!

if i study overseas, i think i'll return home like once a year, maximum twice if something important crops up.
just can't live without chinese food for too long. -

I confess I am the type who gets homesick. One week on holiday and I feel like coming home already. Two weeks' holiday is quite difficult to bear.

why is it that people don't go further than the 'burgers and steaks' ?
fricken place like Melbourne has so much types of food there, there were idiot students who ate nothing but the crap takeout 'chinese food' for 2 years before they met us and discovered a world of food out there...
