Price wise and definitely not the first few.Originally posted by the Bear:well, i was listening to BBC World Service and seems that the Doctor Fish spa in Japan is a hit..
for those who do not know what Doctor Fish are, they're fish that eat the diseased and other infected areas of the skin... mostly dead skin..
in an article here => Besonline
they report on the use of these fish in a spa where the patrons drip their feet into tanks of the fish and the fish eat up the dead and other messed up skin, leaving the feet cleaned of dead skin.. sort of like a fishy exfoliant
this has been done in Turkey and other places for ages where the fish occur naturally in some springs..
if such a spa opens in Singapore, would you go?

next time you're in thailand, make a day trip to erawan national park ..... there are fish there at the water falls that does the same thing .... and they are MUCH bigger .... big enough to take a whole big toe into their mouths ... not like the little minnows in the pics ....Originally posted by kopiosatu:i dun mind trying it.
but i think the fish will not be able to eat through the callous skin under my foot.
more like bite your toe off than eat the dead skinOriginally posted by Fatum:next time you're in thailand, make a day trip to erawan national park ..... there are fish there at the water falls that does the same thing .... and they are MUCH bigger .... big enough to take a whole big toe into their mouths ... not like the little minnows in the pics ....
