My dad fractured his heel.
Lucky he's alright. He's back home now, resting. He's just dead beat. Really tired. Stupid standard hospital slippers, he slipped while we were supporting him up. -

He's working as a trailer driver (Not entirely sure what you call that profession). You know those big trucks. With flat trailers attached behind. Transporting whatever that needs to be transported.Originally posted by Fatum:how did it happen ? ...
Anyway. He was at the loading site. And this PRC forklift operator loaded this round object. Big and heavy too. It would definitely roll.
My dad was on the trailer. He told that guy to wait. While he fits those supports, so the object wouldn't roll off the side or something like that.
As usual, just like any other PRC would.
He just loaded it. The thing was rolling straight towards my dad. He kinda leaped or jump off the side of the trailer, and he landed, on his heel. Fractured it bad. -
Which makes me hate the people of PRC so much.
All my dad's previous injuries, were work-related, and caused by these dumbarses. His arm, his neck, his back. Now this. It sure isn't helping his slip-disc.
Then again, come to think about it, I'm not sure if I hate the chinese, or not. Cos' another kind PRC bloke helped support my dad up to our place. -

Well... The company did do something about it. It's just, this job he does. Construction line. There're like different companies working together and such. And sometimes they just hire extra help, mainly Bangladeshis or Chinamen. Someone did get killed a few years back... A container dropped onto that poor lad. Squished, he got. -

Obviously the company is not doing enough to prevent it. The reason for this accident to happen is because they hire people with no training.
