But just like people who talk in cinemas, hardly anyone will speak up and tell them to stop.
In fact, some MIGHT tell other people to keep quiet in cinemas, cos inconveniencing us ma.. but in a case like this, who would speak up to stop them? (end up getting pelted by longans and mangosteens!) (Not rudely though. Don't believe in using bad behavior to correct bad behavior.)
so the onus is on who to stop such inappropriate behaviour?
next time tell me, i bring my camera and take pic...send to stomp and disgrace them!Originally posted by the Bear:i stood there and watched..
a mid-20s couple just peeled and ate about 5 mangosteens, feeding their baby some of it.. then packed about 10 in a bag..
like the talking bus and laurence said, a lot just stood there and ate

In Japan and here where I live, you can peel the "inferior" exterior leaves during produce selection. They provide a container to catch the waste.Originally posted by the Bear:well, i see lots of people furiously peeling away leaves from vegetables (i think they were the 'inferior leaves' ) then putting the 'finished product' in plastic bags for weighing..
oh.. that brings me to the plastic bags for bagging produce.. you do not need to tear off about 15 bags to bag 3 pears

You know how dangerous it is when you are pushing the trolley and a kid just appears in front of your trolley ><
It is theftOriginally posted by honeymouse:You know how in Oz you can weigh the nuts & dried fruits and buy in small portion.....
Many international students esp Asian students used to just eat it as if it's free. Think nowadays things have changed a little bit and I think the students have been made aware that this is considered theft.
I have seen people tearing extra plastic bags to bring for home use....damn cheapskate lah...win liao lor.Originally posted by the Bear:well, i see lots of people furiously peeling away leaves from vegetables (i think they were the 'inferior leaves' ) then putting the 'finished product' in plastic bags for weighing..

Actually I dun toOriginally posted by Wanda:Sheltered brat.
I used to refuse all samples from promoters, but nowadays I try everything the promoters shove into my face.Originally posted by elindra:Actually I dun to
At least not unless there is a fruit promoter there
And if I sample, I do try to buy something unless I really don't like it
Originally posted by elindra:It is theft
I dunno how those morons can actually eat the fruits and not buy really
I bet a spear cannot penetrate their thick hide
Are you sure that was an accident Bear?
what? i neevr hanged around the fruits section.Originally posted by Wanda:Sheltered brat.
this is what you call an accident on purpose.Originally posted by the Bear:yes..
in fact, the brat ran into me because he was playing tag with his equally obnoxious sister
oh.. did i tell you guys about the time i ran over a little brat with my bicycle?
there are stairs down the hill onto the cycling track.. but the view of the track from the stairs is obscured by this huge concrete thingy.. there are signs there telling people to look out for bicycle traffic.. but the brat just appeared in front of me and i ran him over with my bike
after that, he was scolded and spanked by his folks...
wasn't my fault at all because there were actually skid marks on the track made by my tires from my trying to stop
but still, the brat was run over

Is MonMilk nice? I saw it but it didn't look very nice to me so I refused the sample
MonMilk (Mongolian) milk is nice when chilled...taste creamy. I don't mind sampling coz even if I don't buy the product then, I may buy it on subsequent visits.Originally posted by elindra:I dun sample from promoters unless it is something I'm interested in
