I just reached school. I was at the Sentosa Vivocity office just now to settle that pay dispute thingie.
Wah lau.... one week after diagnosing the problem, they still had NOT properly accounted for what I was entitled to and what I was supposed to pay back! They still hadn't accounted for CPF deductions and such.
And I had already warned them before I came that I would release the money only AFTER they had shown me a proper accounting of the money!!!
Now they told me that they would send me a letter detailing all the checks and balances relating to this fiasco, along with a letter of acknowledgement (signed by two supervisors) after I transfer the funds.
KNN.... It took all of my willpower to not lose my temper at the office just now.
den proceed to seah im and have a nice lunc + sour plum drink.

In a notice that has been put up on its website, Odex stated that "many of those who received Odex's letter have ... settled the matter. The average amount of compensation paid by those who have settled is about $3,000 to $5,000."
And yet, in a letter issued to the media last week, Odex had said the total amount it has recovered so far "has not covered even 20 per cent of Odex's enforcement costs". -
