Ferret and Phone troubles... -rOar-

SiGh.
I dunno what to say riaos.
Two weeks ago, my phone dieded. Sent for repair. Guy kept delaying return of my phone, said needed to send the damned thing elewhere as it is beyond his "expertise".
So I waited. Then and waited. From 1-2 days to 3-4 days then became 2 weeks.
Then he tell me cannot fix.

I blew up.
Went across to the other store to fix. Guy said usually can fix within 1-2 days. So long means the guy could have changed the parts inside.

He then said it could be not worth it to fix as it might get expensive. I told him nevermind, cos I only want the phone numbers inside. So i hand over the phone to him last sat.
Told me to get it on monday (yesterday). Called. Not around.
So today, just now, I went over to the shop and he still wasnt around.
part 1
Girl at counter : come back later
me : cant u just pass me back the phone and tell me whether fix or not ?
Girl : come back later
me : -frustrated- how much later
Girl : dunno.
me : -grrr- Can u like, call him and ask ?
Girl : talk to boss, i scared he angry
me : ...
part 2 (apparently boss next door)
me : hi, can u call xxx and check on my phone ?
boss : come back after 5
me : -pissed- he's coming back at 5 ?
boss : dunno lah, his hp switched off, i cannot contact him
me : -wtf- then where is my phone
boss : dunno lah, he handle one. wait for him to come.
me : if my phone missing how.
boss : dont worry, sure here one.
me : then can help me find or not ?
boss : wait for xxx come back, everything he handle one
me :
Right now. I just feel like smacking a lotta ppl.
And also, I think there's isnt any more hopes on my HP.
So could you guys kindly PM me your numbers ? I lost all of em.

Dun worry.. a week ago 1 of my phone fell into the toilet , then went to repair. Repairman says need 110 to change the AC something to test if the phone can work or not . then MAY have to change LCD screen another 120 to see if can work.. n no gurantee can fix.
so WTF ?
Thinking buying new phone or not. But the phones i like not really out yet.. so i also pek chek.
For ur case.. maybe the same.. and they are probably swapping ur parts. he he -

Ferret, so how now? Are you going to buy a new phone?
Do you need to borrow a temp hp? I may be able to lend you one ....if I talk to SO. He's in the midst of switching to a new one. -
When I was working in Singapore, my hp played up too. Someone warned me not to take the phone to any phone shops for repair as people there are likely to swapout good parts of your phone for crap ones. Not sure how true it is. I started doing it myself few months ago too.... -
Client numbers can ask from them again... if you got their email or whatever form of contacts.

your hp most likely to have manufacturing faults. fix 1000 times also liao one.. best is you buy new one. -
