  You can have an extravagant wedding that cost over 30k or a simple one that is not even 10k
  
  As for a family up and running, that depends on the lifestyle you want. I mean there are families of 4 surviving on a 1k monthly income and others who think that 10k is not enough

  wedding could be as simple as having a holiday in other countries...
  
  so I think the average would be a few hundreds to infinity....
  
  wedding bands could be cheap like less than 1k per pair.
  
  Money to substain a family? lifestyle differs...

  really depends on how extravagant the couple wants the wedding to be. just last sunday i attended a wedding at the Ritz Carlton and the wedding was said to cost 166k.
