fyi,
i just went and dig out some of the old files of a current big case.
And heck care everything and put it into a box and assigned that box for that case leaving the current files that is needed on my desk.
I was searching high and low for that File 17 because the billing wasnt properly done! And its in the junkyard shelving! KNS!
Angry angry. I am taking charge!
The place is a junk yard, and I hate the mess. -

the keeper takes one, feed.. look after.. then go in and swap the cubs over..

laziness is from personal experience at 2 different jobs -
Was running around. Now lunch time, but waiting for bozz to finish his lunch, go with his client then I can start eating.
Or else, its going to be a mess later when he is busy and I am not around.
Anyway, on the files. It was previously handled by another secretary.
Then it was passed to one paralegal.
Like always, since the files wasnt her baby earlier, she wasnt keen to maintain the records of the previous files.
So now. I took the stuffs away from her to complete the billing, but will move them back to her for her follow up legal actions needed.
At least now I know where the files are and can work on the billing easier. And at least now.....the previous 24 files are now in a box with the affidavits and whatever craps that was filed in court.
I aint no paralegal, but I aint stupid to want to go thru that file closing mess again. -
When one does not believe in letting go. Its always harder to let go.
We are constantly picking up new things. But old things, old emotions, old commitments and old notions should be renewed everytime.
I still think tare should go on a holiday. Even a day trip to Melacca should help during the weekends. -
