  ooh... i had 4 bowls worth of duck blood soup when i was in Suzhou recently... missed them so much... YUm!!!

  Duck noodles used to have slices of congealed duck blood served alongside. I never knew what they were, but I loved to eat them.
  
  Then when I grew older, I asked the uncle what that delicious thing was and he said duck's blood!

  they're cool as heck
  
  and their bite is not potentially fatal.. it just hurts like heck and they rarely bite people...
