trying to get some semblence of order to my email inbox... how come those who commit the worst atrocities in email are always the senior management?
if someone sends something in attachment for their attention and information, and it's bloody 2MB, detach the &*$#ing attachment before forwarding or replying!!
after the initial reply, the rest of the $&*#ing senior management come in with mutual back-slapping as opposed to their usual back-stabbing, each falling over each other to 'add value' and claim credit where none was due.. and all the work, the initiative and everything had nothing to do with them.. it was all hammered out by one of the ground people with those outside the organisation who mooted the project...

they took the advise of the con-men-sultants and tai-chi all to the various branches..
it "saves" the organisation some money in that they don't have to hire people to do it..
thing is, it takes away time which we should be actually doing our primary work to do this...
sort of like the story of the manager who made his whole section do the mass mailing of catalogues to customers... he was happy that he "saved a lot of money" as he didn't have to hire temp staff..
