Looking at the description it is a Management Trainee job with SIAOriginally posted by hisoka:actually, it is abit on the low side. what job is that?

the pay market now is abit higher than b4. i mean if you take the government jobs for comparison, most entry level for grads start at near 3k or maybe lower 3k, or at least thats what i noticed.Originally posted by elindra:Looking at the description it is a Management Trainee job with SIA
I'm not sure about the job scope but knowing SIA, it is 2.1 k excluding other allowances and yr pay scales up pretty substantially if you so called 'pass the test'
I think 2.1k as a management trainee is not bad
Especially since MPB got way less than that when he was a trainee engineer but his pay scaled up many times when he became a licensed engineer

erm, be glad the bag didn't tear explode and the roach run away or worse climb up legOriginally posted by viciouskitty74:Sorry arh....here's what happened just now. 1 second ago or so.
Collegue asked for a set of old newspaper under my table, on top of my boxes of files and I gave them to her.
when suddenly, I see a overturned big size crochcroach under the table, nea my right foot.
at first I tot it was dead and was feeling very yucky to have to remove it.
When I got a peice of tissue.....and move the boz under my table a bit to provide easier access....it moved it legs. I shouted a bit and scooted to the other end of the room.
collegue still suggest that its dead and to be safe, so this time, I used a recycled paper to pick it up and put into my rubbish bin.
And no. It wasnt dead and became livelier once its upright in the rubbish bin.
I was half laughing and frieghtened and disgusted.....and colleugue suggest to spray it with my perfume to stun it.
I sprayed perfume. But that dam thing merely run around my rubbish bin and continue being alive.
I finally have no choice, removed the rubber tying the plastic bag around my bin and take the whole bag, tie it up and bring it to the back of the office where the big rubbin bin is. There.........I put the plastic bag on the floor and stomp on the bag with my high heels shoe until the croachoach was truly bodily splattered in that plastic bag.
Why I had to be so ruthless....is because my collegues believes in not killing....So its not possible to do the killing in front of her eyes. (Its the same colleugue that sugest that perfum stun}.
anyway, the croacoach died smelling nice.
