Thank you guys. It's almost 8am here and and we woke up to news that the fire has cut off the main power line to our power grid. So we have been asked to conserve energy today, on top of avoiding cell phone use and staying off the streets. My town hasn't received the call to evacuate but our bags are packed and we are ready. The evacuation zone has been expanded so we'll see if it's our turn next. Since we have been asked to turn off unnecessary appliances and such, I'll be checking in about 6 hours' time.
I hope it rains too but it hardly ever rains here. Maybe once in 3 months, if we're lucky.
