  hate it when ppl realise last minute that they've just sent you on an errand and you won't be around to fix things if things go wrong... so at the v last minute, they want to shorten all the timelines to make sure you finish before you go... so that they don't have to worry over it....
  
  Problem is, they caused the delay in the first place!!! argh!!!!!
