  Streamie was talking about paus and it reminded me of this story.
  
  A girl I used to work with, her name was Siew Poh. Very nice girl. Very garang but very nice. When she made a love connection with a guy at work, we were all very surprised and happy for her until we realised that William's last name was Char. Can you imagine being known as Char Siew Poh for the rest of your married life? Talk about suay! After that she went by Kris.

  got a friend called Jeff Long...
  
  we noticed that on the top column of his email printout, it will reflect his family surname 1st, then his name comes after that......so it says..

  i ask him one day, what if his son is called Dick?

  a friend of mine was saying that one of her friends resisted getting married to her boyfriend for 5 years...
  
  her name was Nina..
  
  her boyfriend's surname was Beh
  
  there was this poor sap whose parents i think were on drugs..
  
  his name was Yee Seng.. nice name.. unfortunately, his surname was Buy...
  
  then i KNOW Frank Zappa was on drugs when he named his children.. one was called Moon Unit and the other Dweezil
