Arrrgh.... now it's my headphones' turn to go kaput.
It was a pair of Panasonic clip-on earphones costing $50... a little expensive, but the sound quality was so good that it was worth the expense. I used it for one year... until the right earphone went dead.
Sigh.... it seems that everything electronic that I own is doomed to fail.

Oh well.... I bought a pair of Philips in-ear earphones at Funan just now.
I must say that they're pretty good at muffling external noises... but the sound quality seems a lot flatter than what I'm used to. -
