  My mother just called. She just got back from her sister's place in Butterworth. Turns out my aunt has stomach cancer. Mum's second sister died a year ago and now this.

  Isn't it though? My aunt is single but she adopted a 5 year old indian boy. Sadly, William is hopeless because my aunt took such good care of him. Mum says that William will not know what to do without my aunt. My poor aunt. She had been complaining of pain in her abdomen area for a while now but we never thought it would be cancer. Mum went up earlier this year to take care of her when she had tummy pains. I worry for my Mum too since she's in her late 70s. Times like this I wish I weren't so far away.

  in office, things just hit the fan..
  
  the aforementioned delivering stuff? she's delivering a sample... if we are happy, it's off to the manufacturers...
  
  we figure it'll be good because they are professionals...
  
  then the other section calls up.. the words on the fridge magnet may be wrong because another agency is pulling out
  
  what the hell are we going to do with about 3,000 fridge magnets with the wrong information on it?

  i dunno.. right now, we did all the due diligence of getting them to confirm, re-confirm and all that...
  
  sometimes, the kiasu culture of trying to anticipate everything bothers the hell out of me... they anticipated that the other side will not object.. the other side waited until one week before it's cast in stone to object...
  
  and this bloody thing has been going on for more than 1 year!!
  
  they have to wait until the final week before objecting??

  Wait? That is just a sample right? It's not manufactured right?
  Amendments can still be made but maybe extra costs?

  they've made the mold... and to recast the mold = mucho dinero..
  
  let's see what we can do about it.. maybe we pay them some extra money to remake a mold...
  
  but all these, because of a lot of things to tie us up with, are out of my paws.. will allow the boss to go deal with it on monday

  Ya but at least it is not inclusive of the costs of the manufacturered magnets
  At least some extra money but still not so bad or is there a way to black out the party's name and somehow incorporate it in the design so the mould can still be used
