But from personal experience, it's a wonderful city. vibrant, culturally diverse and pretty safe (as long as you're sensible).
most importantly, food there is pretty decent too and ps. eat me a souvlaki kthxbye

what u mean by "different" education?
Isit harder or easier than here?
haha..cliques? same here right...china student here only keep to himself, india student the same..sux!Originally posted by the Bear:i'm not talking about paper qualifications..
i'm talking about being in another country, in another culture and learning from it..
share, be part of it.. and you will grow..
i saw a lot of foreign students who do not do anything other than study or keep within a little clique of their countrymen..
they have squandered a chance few get to immerse themselves in another culture...
i had a few roommates who were australian and they shared with me what it was like to be a local... i went on camping trips, a hippy festival, huge rock concerts, drinks, impromptu road trips, visited their hometown farms, went on huge trips...
it broadens your horizons... gives you a view much more than those narrow-minded idiots infesting speakers' corner...
like i wrote.. it is a life-altering experience..
go there.. make friends with the local people.. and see a whole new world open up to you
p.s. that kind of education is not paper qualifications.. it is something which makes you grow more than paper qualifications can
btw.. if you're there next year around F1GP time, i'll go visit you and we can share a souvlaki or three
