  So what are you guys getting for your significant others/family/special people in your life? Just curious. Can you tell I need gift ideas?

  i'm useless when it comes to buying gifts
  
  for friends it's easy.. get them a bottle of booze.. but for someone closer, i wring my paws in agony over what to get

  for very very close friends, i will observe wat he/she really need before i buy...
  but normally i will look for things like below :-
  close guy friend - shirt / cufflink / perfume
  close girlfriend - bag / accesories - earings, pendant etc

  Its difficult to suggest presents.. I usually will observe to see what the person needs/like. Then I shop for it.
  
  One thing that I hate to get as a Xmas present is a mug or towels...
