Bought everyone on your Christmas list their gifts yet?
I still have a couple more presents to buy and I'll be done. My budget has gone out the window though.
We received an unexpected gift via Fedex so now I have to reciprocate which I didn't mind too much. But but but this family member will tell the two he's closest to and then these other two will wonder why we haven't sent them a gift as well. Piangz. So bo pian, I had to buy two more gifts. *heavy sigh* Ever been in this situation before?

I don't celebrate Christmas, but do indulge in some occasional gift-giving within my circle of close friends. The few Christmas gifts that I have already purchased, were acquired via mail-order. Better prices, no sales tax, and, best of all, not having to contend with the mad Christmas shopping rush at the retail stores.
So, who's taking Wednesday (12/26/07) off to get a headstart on the post-Christmas sales?

last year i spent like nearly a thousand dollars on xmas gifts.
and i got stuff like chocolates in return.
so this year i am not buying xmas presents. -
I ordered goods online but the courier company lost them. Futhermore, it has been 12 days already. Grr. now I have to do some real shopping in case the goods don't show up.

Speaking of cookies, the 1 lb. tins of Kjeldsen's Danish Butter Cookies at Wal-Fart have gone up in price this X'mas season. They were $1.99/tin last year, but $2.99/tin this year.

hmm....i like to think canada post is pretty good with handling mail bah. i get my ang pows (cash) from singapore intact.
