Goodbye 2007, Hello 2008.

I can't wait for 2007 to end. It's been a stressful year of many changes. The more obvious ones were, I started working again, the hubster retired after 20 years of military service and entered the civilian sector and my kids moved up to middle and high school. Once the end of January rolls around, I'll be quitting this job. My neighbour has offered to hire me to work with her at our local library. It'll be more relaxing and way less stressful than my current job. I can't wait.
As for 2008, it can only be better. I have some resolutions but then the following have always been on my list of new year resolutions.
1. Pay down bills and hopefully eradicate a few.
2. Spend more time with family.

Here's two more:
3. Cancel some credit cards. I got two cancelled yesterday. More cancellations to follow in due time.
4. Spend less money. -
My major goals for 2008 (in no particular order):
1. Find more tax shelters for my personal investments to reduce my 2008 tax liability. Having to pay in money to the IRS and state revenue department is not fun.
2. Obtain a motorcycle license.
3. Get rid of my current winter junker, and replace it with a less junky and somewhat more reliable vehicle whose body hasn't completely rusted away.
4. Trim back my firearms collection.
5. Take another trip to Seattle! -
