Bat in my room ...

this little critter "hollanded" and somehow ended up in my room yesterday evening ....
it was squeaking in a loud, very high pitched pip and was very frightened ...
i was tempted to keep it as a pet, but I have no idea what to feed it or take care of it ... so I hung it outside my window and released it after I took these pictures ...

it panicked whenever i moved. -

last time was in sispec..delta coy in tekong...
some nights...bats would come in our bunk cos we were closest to the jungle...
at times they would fly in and hit spinning fans and u should have seen the havoc.....blood everywhere -

You should have called SPCA, AVA or the zoo to come collect it instead of letting it go. Living on its own in the city may pose a threat to the bat's life and ours
Most probably if its species' is found tolerable to our cliimate it can stay in our wetland reserve or at the zoo.

i know my place there in jalan kayu previously has lots, everynight fly around the street lamp one...
u check out those cityhall, supreme court area.. also a lot of bats -
so, this fella's radar malfunction eh?

Your neighbourhood has plenty of greenery. We saw plenty of these flying foxes around the church. (Do you continue to attend Mass daily there?)
