  and suddenly something occurred to me. those warrant officers, sign on till they retire.
  
  when they finish their term, and finally get back their pink ic. won't it be a alien they're looking at?
  
  i mean those times, their ic photos are taken at the age of 12 right?

  I knew it wasn't for me, and A-level grads get a smaller sum. Anyway, Stell, the 20k will wait for you for one year (from your date of enlistment).

  when i was injured in 2006, i lost 13kg in 5 weeks... and if i do the same with activity, i think i can lose more

  I know a few people who signed on after seeing the $$$ dangled before their eyes.

  Like I've told many a forummite in the SAF forum who enquired about signing on.... if your main reason (or the only reason) for wanting to sign on is the money, then you should NOT sign on.

  I'm pretty much carrying all the muscle I can hold already, working out with the weights is just for maintenance and to kick my metabolism into gear. My main form of exercise is still swimming.

  but my friends are like Wow, 20k.. thats alot of money and if i get to study my pte degree during that time even better.
  
  so $$$ might be the main reason for most to sign on, but my poly mate signed on because he was PES A and wanted to escape the chiongsua life.

  Hopefully nobody else will be crazy enough to join the Navy thinking its a slack life there.
