Well the freight into Malaysia is slightly more expensive but I think it might be the inland trucking that is padding in all the costs -

Any cargo to East Malaysia gotta tranship via PSA Terminal, so it adds to shipping cost
If it's KL, maybe cos there's lesser containers around in West Malaysia? -
The other reason I can think of is because original cds are not popular in the land of pirates

Taka standard like not as good
