Ding Tai Fung is not new. Have been there several times liao. I don't like their La Mian - it's too heavy on the stomach because it's too starchy.

I can get durians here very easily in one of the Vietnamese grocery shops or the Asian grocery shops. Durians are shipped over neatly packed and kept chilled, already dug out of the shells. If you're lucky and you happen to be in the shops when they have just received the shipment, the durians are pretty fresh and nice! Totally satisfies my craving!
Lychees and Longans can get sweet and juicy ones here too!
Even mangosteens are available here, although they cost much more.
