It's extremely hot today in Melbourne..... 41 deg celcius!!!! My snow peas and lettuce I put in last weekend might not survive the heat....

i remember when i was in melbourne, we were playing tennis all afternoon until 8:30pm... during the summer... when it was 40 degrees in the shade
boy did we ever get fried during the summer -

Tomorrow will be 40 deg too but there should be a cold change by midday. Can't wait. Tonight is going to be hard to fall a sleep since the temperature will be at least around 30 deg.
As for my rash, I am still taking medication for it but slowly reducing the dosage now. Went to the specialist last Saturday and he gave me cortisone injection for one of the rash which doesn't seem to go away.
I also started seeing an allergy doctor and have been doing a few tests to find out if there's anything I am allergic to. For some reasons I have a high sensitivity to rice, corn, chocolate and soy. These are the things I like to eat most. Too bad.... I have been asked to avoid these food for 2 weeks to see if my rash improves. Sigh... this means pretty much no Asian food for me for 2 weeks!!!
Oh well, if it helps with my rash... I guess it's worth it! -

Australian Tennis Open always takes place at this time of the year, the hottest time. I feel so sorry for the tennis players.

I don't think it's going to be a problem to buy bacon in bulk just as long as you put them in freezer or an airtight container. When you say in bulk, how much do you mean??
We have some bacon (500g) in the freezer too.
