Anyway, I'm home early today.... I managed to finish a couple of sets of experiments before lunch.
I went to Funan.... bought a USB hub and a headset for Skype-ing with the FS.
My USB hub became non-operational a few weeks back.
My headset broke just as I was putting it on a few weeks ago. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised.... it was a Creative headset.
Sigh.... I wonder what's next to go kaput.... -

This is the THIRD time I'm calling Optus today!
First time round, I had to wait TWENTY freaking minutes before the system just hung!
Second time around, the operator accidentally hung up on me!
Third time around, I got transferred to a vacuum AGAIN!!
And this is how efficient an automated answering system costing a bomb is :

Auto Answering System answers :

Pause...

Technically, if you signed up for an Internet service plan that provides you with the first 30 days of free service, and now, you're only getting 20 days free service because the first 10 days were wasted on a line fault that they had to fix, will you fight tooth and nail to have your free 30 days and not settle for a free 20 days of free service?
