OK, I managed to download enough of the clip to see him mixing the paste in the bowl. This is what it is :
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/4-1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1/4 tsp Chilli Powder
1/4 tsp Kastouli Menthe (??!!) Powder
1 tsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp Tomato Paste / 2 tsp of Tomato Puree

Do I need to watch further? Or are you alright up to this stage?

I grew up watching my grandma cook and I used to get in her way all the time because I wanted to be involved, but always kena scolded and kokz on the head by her. 
Amazingly, years later, I can still remember how to make rempah and other basics. All from observing her when I was 3-6 years old.
I was very happy helping out in that BBQ because I think I worked well with the disposable gloves that the organisers provided for food prep. I guess that's when your nursing training comes in handy! -

And Lotus, I'm sorry I couldn't get that missing ingredient on the list. It sounded like Katsouli Menthe but there's no such thing. Maybe, elindra or Bear or av can help! -

av, think the DVD store might have run out of the Taewangshashingi series. Apparently, I took the last copy!
Once the new shipment arrives, if you're still interested, I'll get you a copy, k? The English subtitles and Mandarin dubbing suck, so it's good that you can read Chinese.
I think I'm obsessed with that series... I can remember the wonderful music and I keep seeing the freeze-frames of BYJ!!
