actually that correct version is making a lot of assumptions that may not be valid.Originally posted by kopiosatu:i saw this on my colleague's t-shirt
Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish, and he will sit in the boat and drink beer all day.
but a morally "correct" version is this
Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime.

since we are fishing for rabbit fish, get the smallest gold hooks you can find and 4-6 lb line, it'd be easier to buy those pre-tied packet of sabiki jigs and just cut away the feathery stuff ...Originally posted by skeujin:fatummy, wat size hook do ya use?

By the way what is the fish below and how do you cook it
Yup I have seen a lot of those at the Bedok Jetty tooOriginally posted by Fatum:that's a spotted half beak ....
they are very very common all around singapore waters .... easy to catch, but not a lot of people knows the technique .... you can see them skimming across the sea when they are frightened, and some people mistake them for flying fish ...... the fish is small but the meat's delectable .... no bones, you fry them up in light batter and the centerline bones will part easily from the flanks ....
