I'll go broke!
You can't exactly reapply sunscreen on a powdered face. Siiigh... I try to wear hats when I have to go out under the hot sun now because the sun here is really so much harsher.Originally posted by elindra:You have to bring it out for re-application
If not invest in a good face powder that provides UV protection
Same for me when I went to christchurch... but fortunately, the freckles are on my arms instead of my face.. phew!Originally posted by Rhonda:No use... I use sunblock religiously but since I came over to Melbourne, freckles has sprung up all over my face!!!

They have baby bowder with SPF 15?Originally posted by viciouskitty74:The thais love their baby powder.
It comes in 50g bottles and has spf15 too.
I've got a few bottles because they work as loose powder w/o the colours and it felt light on the face, especially when I am on those "I dont want to wear make up days'.
Shall I bring a few bottles for you ladies to try?
Tell you what, pm me a addy.Originally posted by Rhonda:You can't exactly reapply sunscreen on a powdered face. Siiigh...

Waaah!! You're so sweet! I think I'll go see if they have those in the supermart here first. Afterall, this is really SunCity!Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Tell you what, pm me a addy.
I will post over some of those johnson's Pure Essentials powder in 50g bottles for you to try.
The pink powder works well on my shallow skin as opposed to their higher spf white powder. And they also comes in glitter version, for that extra sparker on your face, neck and exposed skin.
I still kinda missed that johnson lotion with baby powder, they no longer produce it I guess.Originally posted by elindra:They have baby bowder with SPF 15?
Wow I didn't know they have that
That was in the newspapers and current affairs tv programs here a while back.Originally posted by the Bear:

Just now I tried to take bus no. 30 instead of the MRT to school. I did that in the past to save money.... but eventually I switched to MRT.
Two buses came in the next 20 minutes....both were so jam-packed that no one could board them.
In the end, I gave up and took another bus to the nearest MRT.
Wasted at least 30 minutes.
The bus journey and the time spent is not worth it lah.Originally posted by fudgester:*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*

No. 30 is only packed until Shenton Way.... after that, it's smooth sailing.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:The bus journey and the time spent is not worth it lah.
Bus 30 is only packed till it reached Shenton Way & Hourbourfront. After that, its a painfully slow ride to Jurong?
