I went to Katong Shopping Center just now.... I have nine B/W pages and five colour pages to convert to transparencies for my presentation tomorrow.
The B/W transparencies cost 50 cents each..... but the shops all quoted $3.50-$4.00 per piece for the colour transparencies.
Those five pages are all full of flow visualization pics, many of which use mutiple dyes.... I really need to show the colour. But no way on earth am I paying $17.50 - $20 for five transparencies.
In the end, I decided to make all of them black and white.... I figure that I can just show the B/W diagrams on the OHP, and give colour printed handouts to the profs.

Maybe next time try Ngee Ann Poly though it is far I think they are cheaper there -

i've stopped for a while to take a break... the boss has promised lots of people lots of things which we do not have the time to carry out...
i'm already doing things which should take a week or so in a day.. and a few of them at the same time...
damn.. can't wait until the next boss comes and gets a shock of his life...
all the while.. the boss keeps interrupting my train of thought with her incessant phonecalls about inconsequential and nonsensical things which she is doing.. just to "keep me in the loop" but all it's doing is derailing my train of thought... -

I just contacted a guy and will buy a 4GB Sandisk SD card from him and meet @ Toa Payoh tmr... $35 only ...hope it is not fake one..
so i have 8G + 4G +4G = 16GB ...i think enugh liao....
no need to bring lappy.. in case pple steal my lappy from room... -

MPB passed me a 2GB SD card to me to lend you but I forgot to pass to u -

I paid 50 cents per B/W transparency at Katong.... in other words, it's actually cheaper to do it there than in school.
Dang.... even though I use B/W transparencies, I still have to shell out $6 because I have twelve of them.
It is not lost on me that it would have cost me nothing at all if I had been allowed to use Powerpoint. -
