there's a SMRT train nutter in my class.
he even surfs SGF!
draws us a diagram of the new model trains, their numbers of refurbished, new and existing trains.
drew out the whole routemap.
and worse still, he addresses me as brother! -

I know of a few other nurses who don't have weekends like me. It's the penalty rates that sweeten the situation and makes things worthwhile.Originally posted by honeymouse:I don't know how you do it. I don't think I'll work weekends forever though... once I hit the max pay rate in about three years' time, I shall cut back my workdays. My dream is to work permanent full-time for just three or four days a week, and register with an agency / Nurse Bank to pick up extra shifts as and when I wish to.
I do enjoy the odd Saturday or Sunday off though. Oh! I have been given a Sunday off before CNY... is that an appropriate date for our celebration?

found mine by "chance"... went to this salon [rebrand from my previous] with they were full and can't do mine... but stylist happened to be the senior stylist there. saw my hair and ask if i wanna do it... she squeezed time in for me cos she feel she have to do something abt it... yes it was bad >.<
and she wanna curl my hair tis time.... ... ... wonder how i'll look.... ... ... -
i used to live a hermit's life when i was doing shifts..
i think with the boss's recommendation in my appraisal report thingy, i'll never do shifts ever again.. something about my spine and (what she says) my suitability for "staff work"
ahahaha..
i've never been suitable for staff work.. i'm in my element at the operations bit
but then, i'm not complaining.. staff work = 5 day work weeks

She even blow-styled my hair a bit... added soft waves from the mid-length down to the ends. Looked sooooo kawaii!! I liiiiiikeeeeee!!!
Sadly, to make those waves permanent, it would cost me upwards of A$300!!
Anyways, tare, I'm going on that date. The guy sounded so nice and easygoing on the phone, and he seems keen, so I'll go meet him and have a good time!
