  i also feel either to give cash or check with the parents to get something specific

   

  i would refrain from buying big items unless the parents really want it

  becos if the parents don't want it, or already have it, or someone else gave the same thing,

   it will just take up space in their home and most of our homes are not very big

  which currently already chock full with cot and everything else.

   

  I gave my little god dotter's mummy an angpow plus a pair of sockshoes for my little god dotter :)
