I dunno ... she's hidden the box somewhere .... she usually splits half a kilo in the box and the other in a plastic container and top up from there .... I know it's 48 a kilo cos she told me so and warned me not to finish all of it before the new year cos she won't pay for any more ...

strangely, no bak kwa in the house this year.. and we usually don't buy any..

Heck, one of the huge blisters burst and the skin almost completely tore off.... that's technically an avulsion, right?

yah.. the other week, Polar came to my office with other fellas like Four Seasons and Bengawan Solo to sell stuff...the staff welfare fellas invite them to sell stuff to us at a discount when there are festive seasons...

I think not just smaller size, the abalone weight also slightly lesser
NTUC selling tat Fortune Australia Abalone drain weight 213g somemore smaller @ $38
Others selling @ $52, bigger and I suspect if based on 25% brine, then the drain weight would roughly be 319gm
