Seriously, their NTUC brand not even in the top 10 eatable budget (actually not really budget since atas brand like Gardenia also inside) bread list.. -

i missed the white bread (the rentagular and semi round on top ones) that the local bakery produced...
fresh soft and that smell...so familiar...
(dunno katong and balestier still selling them)
sometimes i comes with chocolate flavour.

I still can't figure out how sticky Gardenia bread is
I think they mean more elastic in the sense that Gardenia bread is more chewy coz of the stronger flour they use I think. More bite and feels thicker

Chey! He should have used better English and say something like, "Bread, regardless of the brand, is still bread." That is more self-explanatory. my friend baked a loaf for me the other day - choco chips with walnut
it was very very nice
i almost dashed out to get the same bread-making machine! (it's only $149 during promotion time at tangs)she says home-made bread has got no preservatives
she bakes at least twice every week
(just dump the ingredients in, the thing will knead for you and bake for you! in 3 hours.)so tempted!
