me only eat sunshine gardenia and bonjour b4
yeah.. bread is bread for the "rough tea, bland rice" people like us..
but it makes a difference for those who need the best bread to make the toast for their caviar
that being said, i wonder what lau lee uses to eat with his brains...

actually, what gets me is that after the ivory tower-dwelling asshats said that "rice is rice, bread is bread", the straitjacket times comes up with this
I only eat Gardenia and sometimes Bon jour
Don't really like the rest

I still can't figure out how sticky Gardenia bread is
I think they mean more elastic in the sense that Gardenia bread is more chewy coz of the stronger flour they use I think. More bite and feels thicker

Chey! He should have used better English and say something like, "Bread, regardless of the brand, is still bread." That is more self-explanatory. By simply stating "Rice is rice, bread is bread", I was thinking, DUH?! But of course? If not what? Bread can't be rice, right? So of course, bread is bread mah!
hmmm normally for camping i would buy NoFrills
but if I eat at home I like sunshine multigrain bread :D
I don't like white bread.

elindra you sound like those who would bake their own bread!
my friend baked a loaf for me the other day - choco chips with walnut
it was very very nice
i almost dashed out to get the same bread-making machine! (it's only $149 during promotion time at tangs)
she says home-made bread has got no preservatives
she bakes at least twice every week
(just dump the ingredients in, the thing will knead for you and bake for you! in 3 hours.)
so tempted!
use rice flour to make bread.

The PM pays himself millions of dollars to make such pronouncements, so he has to be right...
...right?
