I'm also not too keen on the trip to Penang coz I've been hearing so much stuff about unrest in Malaysia and some have been joking about running to Singapore

conversation btw my lady boss(LB) and me...
LB : what is the problem u r facing now with sg company ?
Me : They submit the report with partial informations fill in. I gave them a report will all formula calculations, they copy and paste value and send to me with all decimal place. And when they amend any figures, nothing will change. My deadline given to them stretch from 31st jan to 4th feb to 6th feb to 12th feb.
They tell me tat they can only finish by sat. Tmr is the deadline for reporting to the president. Without their contribution of reports, i cannot complete the reports.
LB : Wah so complicated ah....I am stuck with other things. (tab on my shoulder) I think you can handle it. Beside, this is the first year this new manager is working on the reports. Give her some more time.
Me : wat do you wan me to do ?
She walked away.....
I really feel like crying out

Imagine this... You have four candidates standing in front of you, they are all 1.7 m tall.
#1 : He's a bodybuilder... his BMI shoots through the roof! He's supposedly categorised as "morbidly obese"!
#2 : He's a sprinter. He is lean and thin, and according to his BMI, he is "underweight".
#3 : Has glucose intolerance issues, along with a low metabolic rate. Needless to say, despite him eating small, healthy meals, he gets labelled "Obese".
#4 : Extremely skinny guy with a high metabolic rate. He loves to eat fried and oily food, and doesn't hesitate to consume animal fat. He is genetically predisposed to have a high metabolic rate. His BMI is in the 'healthy' range... but is he really?
Use the Waist-Hip ratio instead. Right now, it is touted as the most accurate indicator of mortality, as it is a pretty accurate indicator of cardiovascular health, ie. how healthy your heart is.
If you are apple-shaped, ie. thick-waisted, your risk of heart problems increases.
If you are pear-shaped, ie. bottom-heavy, your risk is not as great.
If you are hour-glass shaped, you risk getting stampeded from all the lusty and horny chee koh peks!
Here's what I found from Wikipedia :
"A WHR of 0.7 for women and 0.9 for men have been shown to correlate strongly with general health and fertility. Women within the 0.7 range have optimal levels of estrogen and are less susceptible to major diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disorders and ovarian cancers. Men with WHRs around 0.9, similarly, have been shown to be more healthy and fertile with less prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
WHR is a better predictor of mortality in older people than waist circumference or body mass index (BMI). If obesity is redefined using WHR instead of BMI, the proportion of people categorized as at risk of heart attack worldwide increases threefold.
Other studies have found waist circumference, not WHR, to be a good indicator of cardiovascular risk factors, body fat distribution, and hypertension in type 2 diabetes."
Calculate your waist-hip ratio here.
i am doomed, i am more than an apple.!

Wow... that was really interesting! I loved how the herd of buffaloes 'ganged up' against the lionesses! Actually when the lionesses attacked them, I was thinking, in terms of size, they can easily stampede their predators to death and yet, they run away!
You can see how you only need ONE brave buffalo to start attacking the lions, and then more followed. The way they act is pretty much like humans.

the kitty was found a bucket with water.
my colleague brought it back to the office and dry it with my new face towel.
it is light grey and white with big big eyes..
now happily rolling about in a big box, and his makeshift house (out of our cd carton box) and wrapping around my towel.
and sometimes, meow for attention, everybody rush to sayang him. he happy then roll back and relax and let us massage him.
the kitty is size of my palm...and very mischievous...
once put him on the floor, he start hopping around in delights..
we all must stand around and make sure he doesnt run into any corners or under the cd racks.
we are so busy today...to take care of a kitty.

Awww... have you guys fed it yet? Be mindful that kittens have not learnt how to sheathe their claws yet, so when they play with you, it might seem that they are being vicious kitties cause they might scratch you, but actually, it's just that they haven't learnt how to control their claws, and they mean no malice.
Lf... kitten CANNOT eat one har!!
remember!! kitten CANNOT eat one!!
