I don't think the Batox brand can be found in Singapore. Try the Body Shop's Milk shower cream! I love it! It smells really lovely too!
I'd love to have a bathtub next time - such a luxury soaking in a lovely bath filled with my favourite essential oils! Step out of the shower smelling like Cleopatra!

Oh, and LF, if you have eczema, it pays to put on a pair of gloves when you do housework, so that you do not come into direct contact with household detergents, which can be extremely harsh on the skin.
If the condition is really bad, you should head to the GP and get a prescription for an anti-inflammatory cream. Usually, the steroidal ones work better, but let the GP make the assessment.
Also, avoid hand lotions with Lanolin. A lot of moisturisers may have Lanolin and I used to think it was good until my Aussie GP told me that Lanolin may actually aggravate the situation and it's better to use Sorbolene instead.

Yeah! Bear would say that the owners must have been on drugs when they named their company! It's a really horrible-sounding name!

Luckily I never touched lanolin at all even at Australia

Originally posted by Rhonda:Put it this way - If I'm back in Singapore, I would be more daring, because if I fall ill and get hospitalised, my mom, my dad, and my entire family, plus a few of you guys, will probably visit me in hospital and cheer me up so I'll feel quite pampered and nice!
BUT, if I were to get bad food poisoning here and get hospitalised, I'm not so sure I'll get any visitors! Even if I don't get hospitalised, if I were to get a bad case of food poisoning, I struggle alone. It has happened to me once already - tamade bak kwa from the blardy Vietnamese shop wasn't fresh. Ate one slice, and ended up vomitting and having diarrhoea. Felt so miserable, stuck at home, too weak to go out, no food in the house suitable for my condition then... so poor thing...
Therefore, I need to play it safe and make sure I don't take any stupid risks whilst I'm here.
Poor Rhonda.. I know what you mean. I used to live alone while in NZ last time. Once I had a high fever and I kept shivering in bed even though I wore really thick clothes and had my heater on full blast.. I felt quite miserable too.. but my friends called, realised that I was sick and came by to visit me with porridge..

Well, if you don't have skin problems, Lanolin is actually alright.
But if you do have some sort of dermatological ailment, then Lanolin might just aggravate your condition.
Also, avoid moisturisers with essential oils in them if you already have bad skin. Like Lanolin, these may irritate the skin.

Don't shower with hot water too... hot water aggravates eczema!

I ever used Catephill (Spelling not too sure)...
But it's really expensive

At least you have good friends who drop by and even cook porridge for you! That time I almost died also no one bothered to call me! Only elindra sms'd me.

Cetaphil.
When my eczema was really bad, I found that Eucerin helped me tremendously. Too bad Eucerin is not available here. And yes, they tend to be expensive because they cater for sensitive skin.

For me, this goat milk really feels very good. Keeps skin smooth, gets rid of oil (Not like I have much. :P), and makes you feel good generally. Smell isn't too strong too.
And... I can't really say for sure which soap/shower foam will help any individual. Because our skin, it's all different. This soap may be beneficial to some, and disastrous to others. :/
Try using medicated shower foams? Or consult the doctor?
E: And hor, there two goat milks one leh. The shorter bottle has honey and is for senstive and dry skin. The taller bottle is just goat's milk (I think), which has moisturizing properties.
