I bet he will cry when tempers flare at work and they go F here and F that and F you
At the age of 40+, if one is STILLl wavering in one's career direction despite having tried out several other routes before, one will never be able to make it. Harsh, but true.
I mean, I rushed out of an elderly lady's room to grab a few towels and he suddenly asked me where the pat slide was, so as I rushed back to the lady's room (because I didn't want her to fall off the bed and I had left her half naked cause I was cleaning her), I pointed to my right and said, "The pat slide is on your right, hanging on the wall, near the Crash Cart!". He complained to everyone who'd listen, including the Team Leaders and the Nurse Educator, that I was rude and unhelpful because I didn't help him find the pat slide. What the ... !!! Like fuckin' go LOOK!!! If you can't find it where I said it would, then probably someone else has used it so just go and ask the other colleagues if they have taken it!! If you can't even do this, forget about taking care of others' lives!
i found my "healing food" cookbook.
bought years ago, now..i will start reading it..

Did you read that I said "a lot want to fast-track..."? A lot, ok.
And some of my friends who knows about me and . They haven't been very thoughtful. Only like two, who wishes me the best. The rest were like, it's not gonna work or break up while you still can.
And after that, they've been 'casually' teasing and joking about it in front of me. (and behind my back)
Some 'friends' huh.
Yr 40 yr old loser is well... a loser
He won't be able to do anything
He just need to think it this way
At least in Oz he gets handouts to get by

There are many ways to look at the situation. Sorry, don't take it personally because Keii, I don't know you, and I don't know much about tare either, but I just want to let you see things from another perspective.
Friends who wish you the best, they either do care about you and sincerely wish you the best, or they can't care less, and they are just saying the politically correct things.
Friends who warn you, you can say they are unsupportive, and not real friends. But you might also say that they are watching out for you and have your best interest at heart, and they cannot bear to see you destroy yourself.
Sometimes, we interpret things one way, forgetting that things can be interpreted in another manner altogether.
Once again, the above is just an illustration to show you how a different perspective can change our outlook altogether. It is not a comment on your relationship, k?

He's lucky he's in Oz, like you say. If he's back in The Philippines, he probably has to eat dirt cause no one will tolerate this nonsense over there.

Thank you for that. But yes, I have also looked at it from other perspectives, and trust me, it's not like what you said. Nothing about being 'politically correct' and all.

Well Keii, age wise you are still young... very young... (I feel old)
Damn I wish I was still your age
So damn carefree then (sighs)
I can only say if you made up your mind on someone who does not fit the norm of a 'normal' relationship, just ignore what people say la.
Like my cousin. He was a married man with 2 kids
One day he annouced to all of us he is becoming a woman. We were shocked but we accepted it because she was so certain of what she wanted to be. Went through the entire sex change operation and had her name changed and sex changed on the IC as well.
Now she is happily dating another guy.
And she is happy. Really happy and she is a manager in a large MNC (wun say which) and maybe she is getting married again.
For us who knew him as a man when he was a child, we now know him as a woman. Of course people talk about the shock and all but in the end everyone accepted her for who she is (exact for the narrow minded ones of course)
Being able to laugh at yourself helps too you know
Kinda like me and MPB
home...
dinner eaten..
tired..
waiting for water heater to do its job..
3 more days to the weekend
You know like during this CNY, some relatives will give me unwanted advice that I should go to my parents if my husband hits me
I was like "He treats me very well thank you"
You know they have this weird thinking that All Indian Men Beat up their wife
SHEEZZZ
I asked them if I looked abused. LOL
I know Chris will get upset if he hears it.

Aiyah. Can ignore lah. I'm just frustrated at how stupid people can be sometimes.
And for adults who can look back and 'wish' to be young again. Good for them. Honestly, I don't want to be. (Blah blah blah, and people will say, all kids wanna grow up fast.)
Oh, btw, I started work in the ICU this morning! I've never been happier since I came here!
Finally, after almost two years and a lot of trials and tribulations, I've finally made it! Yippeeee!!! I now spend three days in the ICU, and two in my old ward. In June, I'll most likely start on a Critical Care course in my hospital that has a heavy emphasis on hands-on experience, and that will give me one credit point off an elective module when I start my Deakin University course proper.
Today, my mentor kinda threw me into the deep water! She said, "You've worked in the ICU before, now, calibrate this for me!" and she asked a few questions that PHEW!! I managed to answer!
"How do you calibrate the transducers?"
"Using the Phlebostatic Axis as Reference Point."
"Where is your Phlebostatic Axis?"
"Between your 4th and 5th Intercostal Space."
HENG AH!!! Heng I remembered enough to save my skin!!

Well, I sure wish I could turn back time and relive my teenage years all over again.
I'll be hitting 25 in June..... I can't believe that it's been that long.
Some of my peers of my age are already married with kids.... while little ol' me is still having to attend lectures and conduct experiments.

Ya la
Hahaha But you are kind stuck in the middle where you can think and be responsible for your own actions but not yet an 'adult'

There's nothing wrong with wishing that one could turn back the clock and be younger again. If I were younger, and know the things that I do now, I would have lived my life very differently...

Biangz!!
Sometimes, I get a bit worried... living alone for so long, being independant for so long, I get concerned that I shall become eccentric and not be able to accept anyone else into my life. As it is right now, I'm quite a loner. And I'm getting more and more self-sufficient whilst getting disappointed by the people around me more and more...
Ms Spears life has seriously gone down the drain
She is so screwed up right now.
