just overheard something... almost shot a terrible remark over..
they were telling this guy that the dy director was inviting everyone to her place.. asked if he was going..
he said that his mother was busy that day.. he and his wife "cannot handle" his two children (his wife just gave birth to 2nd child)
immediately, i thought: WTF???
cannot handle two children then don't effing have two children!!
WTF is wrong with people these days??

Bear, that is not fair.Children, below the ages of 4, are at the most difficult because they are difficult to predict and to control. You generally need about 1.5 adult to 1 such child.
Some parents have it differently, because their first child may be easy, and they suddenly have a difficult 2nd child. So they were unprepared and needed extra help.
For my sister's case, she had a difficult first child.....collicky and OCD. They were both even considering to not have a 2nd child.
The neice was thankfully a angel compared to her brother and it was easier the 2nd time around.
But even with me and the china nanny with her. Her 1st year was kinda accident prone too. A bat of an eyelid and 'bong!' she hit her head or was pushed down by her brother.
Even just last week, when I was workign at Wild wild wet. I was supposed to be supervising the new staffs for the 2nd party......instead I had to get myself involved with a 2 year old in the water because 2 year olds dont listen to instructions, refused to be held, refused to be refused on whatever he wants to do. The parents thankfully let me handle him while they sat and get some relief chitchatting with other parents and looking at us from far.
