Prank carried out recently at New York's Grand Central Station.
What would your reaction be if you walked into the station at the moment the prank was perpetrated?
I think I would gawk
But seriously it is a cool idea
This is like, the 7th time I'm seeing but..
Still love it!
team work !!!
That was so so kewl!! It's totally harmless, and yet extremely entertaining! A good prank in good taste!
i live in ny and ive never heard about this
Hmm... I think if I were to walk into the station when this prank happened, I'd be stumped! I'd look around but since there'd be other equally stumped people around me, we'd probably just gather and talk about it, and then walk up to poke / prod the frozen peeps!
I'd also be wondering if that was some sort of semi-Rapture and I've been left behind!
I think the gang were really good because none of them gave the game away by giggling or laughing! Amazing discipline!

Erm... well, now you can see it!
There are so many things happening in NYC at any one given time, even the police wouldn't be able to keep up with everything, methinks, much less the average resident.
If it were me, I'd try to pick the pocket of one (or more!) of the frozen people...

and if he was like you, he'd pull out his piece and shoot you full of holes?

MG likes firearms, but I don't think he goes around shooting people full of holes.

Well, not intentionally...
I wonder if a similar prank can be pulled off in Singapore. Maybe get a large group of SGF forumites to simultaneously "freeze" in various positions at a bus terminal or MRT concourse during rush hour.
They could hold their positions for only a minute or two, as I think five would be pushing it. The authorities would probably misinterpret the prank as a silent mass protest against rising bus and train fares and, in a classic example of overreaction, send in the riot police, army rangers, commandos, ghurkas, transport minister Raymond Lim to explain why the increase in fares was necessary, and Mdm. Tan Siew Hoon to slap the "protesters" silly.
steady ... !!!

AAAaaaahhh Harharhar!!!
Seriously, I think if something like that happened here in Singapore, the MIB (Men In Black) will be sent to "handle the situation" swiftly and quietly. Instead of viewing it as a good prank, it'll probably be treated as a public disturbance and disruption to peace. The participants will kena charged, etc etc. And then when I fly home in April, I'd have to make a trip to Changi Prison to visit the forumites!
Oh, don't forget, you want to play a prank like that and not end up jailed, you'd probably need to apply for a licence first!
