you know, now things are starting to fall into place for me .. that partially explains the lousy service I've experienced on SQ flights .... if you're working for a company which doesn't stand up for you, and will hang you out to dry instead, would you give your best for it ? .....
and crew members I know tell me that the young lady is a lot braver than we know .... they say that chances are, she'll soon find herself out of a job ... cos she's already been branded as a trouble maker by management for bringing this civil suit against a (business class) customer ....
nope .... I won't be patronizing the company for a long long time ....

In my workplace, there are a few Aussies who are very racist. Thankfully, most of the Aussies are lovely folks and a few of them make really good pals. On the contrary, i think SIA did the right thing by not siding anyone until the court sort out the issue. If the SIA management sack the air-stewardess for fighting what is right for ther, then screw the stupid corporation for its so called professional ethic... a fucking disgrace for being our national airline.

not really leh.. that day at T3. We saw the "ladies" getting off the cars of husband/bfs etc..(I was at the dropoff area). I was observing the behaviour of the batik wrapped ladies.
The face make up was so thick and kindda of scary, and most of them are very grouchy...snapping at their counterparts.. very unhappy.
my friends also asking : what if they bring their anger to work....woooh...jialat siah..
and many of them are ...errhhhh..short. how to reach for the compartment hah?

First time was horrible service. You have to ask for something a few times but still bearable
2nd time this tub of Ang Mo lard sitting behind me kept kicking my chair and complained to the stewardess that I kept disturbing them.
Seriously if you are built like a blimp, get a business seat because Quantas has virtually no leg room in the first place.
I told the stewardess that there is no way I can disturb him and get him to stop kicking my chair but the stewardess just keeps coming over to tell me off till I really almost slapped her!!!
After that I swore never to take Quantas again. Be it cheaper fares or not!!!!! It's a total boycott!!!!!

Fwah!! That was absolutely horrendous!
It seems like Quantas is an airlines that I would definitely not bother with, unless it's bo bian, for domestic travel.

True, true! Sad, but nevertheless, true!
I think it's pathetic that the service industry is so full of crappy and unreasonably demanding customers that make the job so stressful and unpleasant! If everyone behaved graciously and doesn't have that "I'm paying for it therefore I deserve to have this and that" kinda attitude, service staff won't be under such tremendous pressure!
The last few times I flew SIA, I kept gazing at the stewardess' hair... I think the hairspray and hair gel industry must be extremely thankful for them! Quite a few of them had their hair done in the Retro fashion which, I'm sure is better staying Retro! I wonder if a few of them are fans of Amy Winehouse!
bo pian... its their rule n regulations
keep the kebaya, but the make up and hair gotta move on with the times.
