How are you, honeymousey? How are the rashes?
As I told you, the rash got worse after I attempted to drop the dose of the cortisone. Worse still, it got infected by golden staph. Anyway, I have been put on antibiotics for the infection so the rash is sort of "under control" at the moment.
My dermatologist has now referred me to a senior dermatologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and I just went to see him yesterday. More blood tests as usual (don't know what) and I am going to receive some "UVB" treatment for the next 4 weeks before going back to see him. Also, he has referred me to another infectious disease specialist. So, I am specialist-out at the moment. Hopefully, will get the right treatment at some point!

Hi Fatum,
How's life back in Singapore? Do you find it hard to adjust?
Yes, the rash is still not cleared, unfortunately. It could be the diet but I have been getting allergy tests but doesn't seem to be able to pin point the source.
I hate ticks!!!
OMG Honey I can't believe yr rash is persisting after so long!

Oh my gosh! Be glad you have Medicare, otherwise, on top of the skin problem, you'd have to face a huge expense!
My gosh... sounds like some pretty nasty infection! Hope you won't need I/V Antibiotics! Hope that they'll get to the root of the problem too!
I'm fine, thanks! Very happy now that I spend three days each week in the ICU.

life is fine ... heat's bad though ...
maybe it was the ticks but something in your diet's preventing it from clearing up .....
is there something you eat all the time ? ... yeast in the bread, nuts, shellfish, seafood ? .... especially seafood ... you know how the old people says seafood are very "poisonous" ? ...

I find it hard to believe it myself too. The new dermatologist I went to see yesterday was suggesting to put me on antibiotics long term. I suppose antibiotics is still better than taking cortisone.
Now will have to see if the "UVB" treatment is going to help. It's like having a solarium....
any pets in the house ? .....

I think both equally bad for the long term :(

Because I got the tick bite during a site visit, so all my medical expenses are covered by workcover. I still have to cover the gap if I have to pay for it myself with Medicare.
I am glad you're enjoying doing what you're doing at the ICU.

I eat different things everyday. And I do try to avoid having seafood.
And no, I don't have pets at home.

True.... but the cortisone can cause more damage than antibiotics.... still I hope I can go off medication. I have been on medications since July. Sigh....
Open Sesame!!!
Tamade... would you believe I'm into my 8th month of dreaming every night?! ANd last night, I dreamt of cracked eggs, and found out from Dream Moods what it meant :
" To see cracked or broken eggs in your dream, denotes that you will suffer from many disappointments and misfortunes. It is indicative of a fragile state in your life and feelings of vulnerability. Alternatively, you may be breaking out of your shell and being comfortable with who you are."
Grr... it had better NOT be the suffering bit! It had better be the last sentence!
