I was on the bus just now.... it went past SCGS.
There was one whole line of Police SOF and Army Guardsmen along the road.
The funny thing is, the Guardsmen didn't seem to be armed.... sure, the terrorist ain't armed, but it wouldn't be too difficult for him to get a chopper, either.
Dang.... what I'd give to have five minutes with the tango.... in that time period, I'd have rearranged his face enough to make him unrecognizable to his mom.
it's on tv...
each time they show it, we turn on the sound..
i think the guy is not in the bushes anymore...
if he was, they should have sent in the Dwarf Puny Mini-star, who is also the Mini-star of Hobbit Affairs..
he's so short he'll be able to walk under the bushes... and his hugeass ears will be able to pick up any sound coming from the bloody terrorist

I could be wrong in this... But the baby's just 5 months old and the woman just went ahead and fed the baby goat milk without a professional consultation ?
Maybe she deserved the razzing she got from her husband. Even though the timing may be inappropriate.
Using goat's milk before 6 months or regular use between 6 and 12 months is not recommended. Goat's milk is no more appropriate to give baby than cow's milk. If you need to supplement and breastmilk is not available, formulas are a more nutritionally complete product.
Goat's milk is high in sodium (like cow's milk) and is very high in chloride and potassium, which makes the renal solute load too high for babies. This can cause gastrointestinal bleeding and can result in anemia and poor growth (these problems are usually undetected until months later). Goat milk is also deficient in folic acid, which can lead to megaloblastic anemia. Also, infants who are allergic to cow's milk protein are often allergic to goat's milk too.
While it's true that whole goats milk (and whole cow's milk) was commonly used prior to the advent of infant formulas it is also true that the infant mortality and morbidity rate during the times of such substitutions was very high.

Good evening guys
I had a go on the Williams F1 simulator at Ngee Ann City just now, it was a good run and I want to have another go tomorrow.
I haven't mentioned that the Stella Artois/bitter chocolate combination worked too well, have I? The only sleep I got since ingesting that has been in the form of 2 20-minute naps.

Ferret, I share the same view with you on this matter.
Before a couple becomes parents, FOR GOODNESS' SAKES, READ and find out stuff about how to be parents, what to do when pregnant, what to do when the baby arrives, etc!!! And when in doubt, when something's not wrong, seek the doctor for treatment!!!
I'm sorry, but I get super pissed at idiotic parents inadvertently harming their poor babies due to sheer stupidity and ignorance. It all reminds me of this clueless couple I wanted to strangle when I was doing my student nurse attachment in KK Hospital. Their poor baby girl had been running a high fever for ONE ENTIRE WEEK before the parents FINALLY decided to bring her in to A&E and by then, it was too late - the baby girl's fever had damaged her brain so much that she will forever be mentally retarded. When I was alone with the baby, caring for her, I cried, watching her eyes being unfocused, with the left eye going one way, the right eye going the other, and she was crying weakly and her body was jerking involuntarily. I think we should have charged the couple for abuse!
Babies are totally helpless, and extremely fragile. WHY is it that we need to sit through stringent tests to get a blardy driving licence, but we do not do any such regulation before couples become parents?!! If one doesn't bother enough to read up about taking care of babies, etc before one becomes a mom or a dad, then perhaps, one shouldn't even bother becoming one! It's a life we're talking about, a life that can be forever affected by the parents' stupidity.
We're talking about Singapore, where bringing the baby to the GP isn't even going to break the bank. So what in the world was the woman's problem? Sorry, but she deserved to be given a huge scolding by her husband for endangering their baby's life.

Now, KB, what are you trying to do to yourself?! Why this sudden self-destructive tendency?!

I was only looking for a way to make the chocolate seem more palatable.
I don't know what you guys think, but I don't understand why they're still staking out at Whitley, Dunearn and Malcolm Roads for the terrorist. It sounds fine as a precaution, but I suspect he got away with some help from his cronies.
