people making noise about Maris Stella telling their students to get a MacBook..
the newspapers reporting it as the MacBook costing their parents "over $2,000"
thing is.. uhh.. basic MacBook = $1,688
then there is an education discount..
and by bulk through a school = cheaper
dunno what the parents are making noise about?
thing is, i know where the school is coming from.. if they want the student to get a notebook, they should get an Apple.. it comes with all the built-in things like bluetooth, wifi and goodness knows what as default.. and most of all, it'll be relatively free from virus and all that.. and running on OS X Leopard now, it would probably be more stable and crash-proof than any notebook running Windows Vista..
and if they still want the child to use Windows, there's always Boot Camp to make the MacBook dual-boot...

so was the problem the price and the mandatory getting of a laptop or is it about the fact that it's a mac? -
Most of the normal lappies are 2k over anyway if you want to get a decent one that can run vista properly'

But I think the last batch of grey prawns from Auntie Lucy not very fresh or what it refused to eat. It has not eaten for 3 days so yesterday I bought Tiger prawns for it instead and it ate without hesitating.
I tried a 3rd one because I will be away and no one will feed him and usually when I feed it with grey prawns, it wouldn't even touch a 3rd, but apparently it likes Tiger prawns ><

Don't just grab him though coz he does have a defense mechanism which is his razor sharp fins though it don't look like it. Haha
Anyway yesterday my poor friend told me he called recalled for that JI guy and basically he just wanted to bitch
They are already talking about black magic involved in SC

The tune that Wong Kan Seng has been singing is painfully off-key (jibe fully intended).... I, for one, would like to know what the hell this so-called 'security lapse' is. It can range anything from a sentry playing his PSP while on duty to a manpower shortage because of budget cuts from the higher echelons.
And his excuse for warning the public only after four hours has lapsed is really, really sickening..... the terrorist is of 'no immediate danger to the public'? This is the one of the most dangerous men in Asia who has been proven to be a clear and present
danger to our national security, for goodness' sake! -
