Then in that case, she must have felt the tremors.
The last time I felt tremors, I became really giddy and had blurry vision. I thought that I was simply too tired... after all, it was already 1 am at night, and I had been studying for the past few hours.
Then my brother came into my room and asked me whether I had felt tremors.... it was then that I realized that my giddiness was actually due to the swaying building.
Oh! Tremors?! I had an incident once when I was still a nursing student living on the 21st storey! It was way past midnight, and I was online, and suddenly, I thought I felt the screen shake, but thought I had been online for way too long liao, and was simply tired and my eyes were playing tricks on me because of that, so I was going to turn off the PC and head to bed when I heard the steel window grills vibrate! And then I thought I felt myself sway a bit, and I panicked and thought, die... must be really sick from staying up too late! So I quickly hopped into bed.
The next day, I found out that those were actually tremors!
OMG I come back and it's page 4!

Hmmm....

Biangz! I just got home from a Super Suay tram ride from hell!!!
I thought I needed a seat on my way back from town because I had shopping bags, so I took the tram to the last station in Docklands, where the train will stop for a while, then go on a return trip towards my home.
BAAAAAD DecisioN!!! I should have listened to my sixth sense and taken the other tram along Flinders Street instead because :
- two stops away from its last station, on its journey to town, some stupid Aussie lady crossed the tram tracks and was daydreaming of something, because she didn't see the tram approaching, and slammed right into the side of the tram!!! The tram screeched to a halt, and from my seat, I could see out the door and I saw a pair of legs across the tram tracks and I thought, "OH SHIT!!! She has been crushed by the tram!!!" I went to the doorway anxiously, thinking maybe I can help since I'm a nurse, but others got to her ahead of me. She wasn't moving and all of us were holding our breath. The driver went to investigate too and after a few minutes, someone helped her up when she felt steadier. Goodness gracious!! I thought her head had gotten under the wheels because of her position!!! The whole tram had to stop until the paramedics came and the police and tram officers came. ALL the trams heading in the same direction were held up.
FINALLY, after about 35-40 mins, the tram officer apologised to the passengers and gave the tram the all clear to proceed.
And then, mishap AGAIN!!
- Right in Collins Street, the tram stopped, we heard some thunk! thunk! sound, and the tram lights went off, the air con went off, and the tram came to a dead standstill. After 5 mins, the driver came to announce that the tram is malfunctioning and is out-of-service! So we had to vacate the tram and hop onto the next one where we waited... and waited... and then the driver announced that we have to wait till the mechanics fixed that stalled tram in front of us before we can move and in the meantime, all trams headed towards the same direction will be stalled!
Heng ah, the mechanics worked their magic very quickly, and the tram moved ahead, clearing the way.
PHEW... what a journey! Eventful, and with a 2.5hr delay!! This justifies an iPod Classic so that I can watch movies on board stalled trams / trains next time!
maybe fatum will become like Popeye..
i yam what i yam

I see you make a very good wife, elindra... you've mastered the art of nagging, being a little bit sarcastic and yet cute and funny at the same time! In short, you've mastered the art of criticising without inflicting wounds nor incurring hatred!
oh. watching movies on iPod, might as well get the iPod Touch..
also, converting a movie to be watched on an iPod requires a 3rd party program to rip a movie from DVD..
