What sort of people are you instantly attracted to?

sense of humour wins. I like understated humour - the type where the guy knows he is amuusing without trying too hard.. and.. someone who gives me an interesting new perspective of things. Confidence comes a good close second - someone who can be a comfortable observer and be involved without needing to be the centre of attention.
I'm not particular about looks la, dressing la, built watever.
err err but having basic hygiene is good.

I think the guy has to be good in English too, for me. And be well-read.
I want to learn new things from someone smart and know-it-all! I'm also attracted to people who are open to discussions and to other people's point of view. I like to play the Devil's advocate sometimes, but too bad there are too many people who take offence to that, instead of seeing it as an open opportunity to spar verbally and then come away from it learning something new from each other. -
Oh, have to say this - I find ladies who are pretty, and they know they are pretty, but they don't rub it in your face, really really gorgeous! I mean, those who know they are worth a million dollars, but they still manage to put you at ease, instead of looking down on you, making you feel uncomfortable, or boasting about themselves, or vulgarly soaking up all the attention like a hungry leech!
Hmm... doesn't that soaking up attention bit reminds you of an infamous celebrity, named after France's capital?

I think for females, as long as they feel confident about their looks, they don't mind admiring the other female.It's natural to compare really or you can be looking but searching for 'chinks' to pick on.

It's our innate drive to better ourselvesE.g. Girl sees pretty girl in magazine - "hmm maybe I can use that product too, may improve my skin"
E.g. Guy sees handsome guy in magazine - " walao no big deal wad chey"

Everyone likes to look at pretty people. Male and female.
Actually, I lost about 6 kgs once when I hung up a Hawaiian Bikini Babes Calendar, and then used it to motivate myself.

People who can hold an intelligent conversation, seem worldly-wise and well-informed, and share my tastes in music, art, travel and motorsports attract me. That also means I tend to like girls who are tomboyish.

Girls who are confident, but not over-confident. Smart too, but i would like them to be genuinely silly at times. Able to hold a conversation well. Preferably good in english, speaks english.
One feature I would be attracted to would be the eyes.
Oh, and no harm being cute, sweet, pretty or a combination of all.

Nice question which i hadnt even thought of myself. Let's see..i know it's weird, but i tend to like someone better only if that someone shows signs that he's into me too.
Other than that, he has to be confident, knows what he want. And a kind, considerate soul. He must also be able to communicate with me on the same level.
It is the vibe of these overall combination that will arrest me at once.
He doesn't even have to be a looker. And oh by the way, proud people turn me off. So i wont pay attention to proud, handsome hunks.
