YES!!! I have NEVER come across as many nonsensically talkative people as I do over here. Hell, they won't even let you do your work in peace! It's not enough for them to know that, "I'm here to give you your I/V Antibiotics through your cannula.", they will just go on and on and on about trivial things. Recently, there was this female patient who just wouldn't shut up and she made a lot of nurses and other hospital staff extremely frustrated. I was told that the Theatre Reception staff had to tell her, in the end, to "Please just give a one-word Yes/No answer to my questions!" because every question was answered with incessant, stupid chatter.

I used body language to inch closer and closer to the door when she starts talking, and then when I'm near enough to the doorway to make a speedy-Gonzalez exit, I interrupt her and say something curt like, "Oh! I have to see another patient! See ya later!" and then zoom-ba-boom, quick quick exit and shut the door, with her STILL talking away!! I think if we put lifesize cardboard cut-out's of any nurse in her room, she'll talk till the cardboard cut-out melts down.

SL once introduced me to a Sydney friend of hers who was hyperactive and kept on talking and talking and talking. And when he sensed that you were withdrawing into your shell (because he was talking so much it gave me a severe headache and earache), he thought that he needed to ramp up his efforts to impress you and be entertaining and talked even more!!! He's married now, and I hope that his wife doesn't get an aneurysm someday from his non-stop yak yak yak! I just hope he isn't too fervent on increasing the yak population!

Just the day before, I saw a mom shopping in K-mart with her tot. Her toddler was talking on and on and on, you could hear her before you even saw her! At one stage, the exasperated mom yelled, "Would you please please stop talking? You haven't stopped since you woke up this morning!!! Quiet now, please!" So, what did the little girl do? She turned around, saw me, and started talking to ME!

lets skip the appearance part

Im attracted to:

The type that is very friendly, open-minded, willin to listen to new stuffs/open to new things, witty and humorous

Intelligent and able to hold a decent conversation (rangin from fashion to politics.. anything goes here.... i dont want a bimbo who only knows shoppin stuffs)

shares similar taste as me in music and art will be a plus.... and philosophy

Whoa... "skip the appearance part"... you sound like the kind of man all the ladies here have been dreaming of!

One thing though, if you get all those characterisitics, but the girl resembles say, Lydia Sum Tim Har or Camryn Manheim, wouldn't that put a damper on things? I mean, honestly speaking.

Because i thought you ask for the 'characteristics' part, so i dump the appearance part and also, i believe everyone gets attracted to handsome men or pretty women so theres nth much to talk bout here hence that explains the 'lets skip the appearance part'

but of course, i do fancy pretty girls and appearance is impt to me
and worst still im the type who believe in love @ first sight ~~ (guess you gotta take your words back )

and btw im not a guy, but i do like girls.. so yeah.

to the qn: put a damper on things huh.... uhmmm if thats the case.... she will make an interestin friend of mine then ~~ meh. but things like that are hard to say, gotta meet one whos like that in order to decide
