NEP is not exactly apartheid, but it comes close enough.

oh.. listening to the BBC World Service, the guy said that the big cities like Lhasa, so many Han Chinese are there that there is no difference between there and any other city in PRC.. because the places which were Tibetan were demolished and they started building to subvert the population..
the further away from the city, the more sparsely populated but "more" Tibetan..
the place is now a mess.. so be careful..

i heard the area in front of the palace was used to be the tibetian treasure lesiure park... the chinese has took over and convert the precious place into KARAOKE PUBS.. OMG -

cos it's really about exploitation .... why else would a country want to take over another ? ....
in the other news, China seems to be wanting to pull a "tibet" on Bhutan as well .... the happiest (according to the UN), the most harmless, the most backward and the most hermit kingdom on earth ....
the chinese has been sending in troops and inching their way into Bhutanese terrority every winter to "escape the harsh weather"... and then staying over in the spring and building fortifications ... and telling the Bhutanese not to "make a fuss" each time .....

Tamade!!! I was heading off to bed when I turned on the bedroom lights and guess what was waiting for me on the bedroom wall just above my bed?!!!

This time round, I must have emptied the entire can of insecticide on the poor bugger cause it died much faster than the previous one!
It peng san'd on the carpet between the bed and the bedside cabinet, but I think I'm too lazy to go fish it out of its grave... so maybe someday when I'm vacuuming, I'll let the powerful suction tear its corpse apart! I hate hate hate spiders!! I think there must be some sorta hideout for them in the back... Must exterminate them all!!

Erm... what if they jump on me and bite me when I try to nudge them? What if they run into some unreachable nook or cranny and lay eggs there?!!!

they want a buffer zone with India, same reason they wanted tibet, inner mongolia .....
to be fair, quite a bit of indian terrority in the north east were historical chinese territory ... even the people there are of east and south east asian extraction ....
but they certainly have no cause to be nibbling away at Bhutan ....
they are doing the same thing in the spratleys too ..... there are already chinese tour packages going down to the "south sands", staging from hainan ....
