  i haven't had durian for a long time.. almost a couple of years.

  yah, so when is it?  that last time i was there, my sis tried to hunt durians down for me but no luck leh.

  yah.. geylang got durians all year round.. but best season should be near july/aug i think..

  sure ah.  my sis has a friend who is a fruit wholesaler.  he also said no hab.  maybe they looking for quality stuff bah.  anyways, i didn't get to eat leh.  so sad.

  and i tot i get to visit sg this year but looks bleak.  oh, june?  hmm......*think think think*.

  I was at a sports store at Peninsular Plaza today. I was looking at some running gear... thinking of changing my shoes in the near future. I was also thinking of getting running tights.

  I asked the salesgirl ( a China girl ): 'Do you have any running tights for sale?'

  Salesgirl: (enthusiastically) 'Yes, yes, we do!'

  I was out shopping for clothes just before CNY downtown ... at topman, I stopped one of their chaps to ask him something, in english ... 

  he replied in mandarin, asking me if I can speak to him in mandarin (no price for guessing where he's from, from the accent), cos he doesn't know any english ... I got pissed off, continued to speak in english, and the fellow got one of his colleagues, a local malay chap, to serve me instead .....

  WTF ! ....
